When asked about his role at the park, Mr. Tang said, “These days are really busy. I follow two German projects. Germany’s General Consul in Shanghai, Peter Rotten, held the groundbreaking ceremony on May 18th, 2016. It’s aimed at foreigners, including—but exclusive to—German projects. Some of them have gained great success, some still at the first stage, and some have some difficulty. Then, I will say something about how to combine local products with foreigners’ resources, to do some trading business, which may be easier for foreign startups. Third, I will share a joint venture project from Essen, Germany and a Chinese design group. This is one of the top 50 companies in China’s city-planning business.
